Flanges made up of various materials and of various types are available in the market. One such type is theThreaded Flange. Special circumstances demand the use of these BSP Flanges since they can be attached to the pipe without welding. Threaded Pipe Flanges at times can be welded if the circumstance demand so. Aluminum Threaded Flange is not suitable for walls that have thin thickness. Therefore thicker wall size needs to be chosen for fitting Small Screwed Flanges. The question that arises is what is the ideal thickness of the wall?
Well, Male And Female Threaded Flange belonging to schedule 80 of ASME B36.10 are said to have ideal thickness. Flat Face Flange is similar to slip on flanges however, the major difference between them is that High Pressure Threaded Flange is bored to meet the diameter of a particular pipe in the inner side.
